  • Dr. Taylor Scott, D.C., grew up in the small town of Carlyle, IL. Her first experience with chiropractic was when she was a junior in high school during a job shadowing experience. She found herself being amazed at the power the body had to heal itself; but, not only was there healing going on in that office, there was also lots of smiling. Dr. Scott grew up in a medical family, and this was different than any other medical office she had ever experienced before. It was throughout that shadowing experience, she knew she had found something special. Dr. Scott always perceived herself taking up the family business of serving others, and after that day she knew she was going to become a Chiropractor; no matter what it took.

After graduating from Carlyle High School, Dr. Scott attended Kaskaskia College in Centralia, IL on a full-ride scholarship before transferring to Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO, where she earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Human Biology and then onto her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree with an award in outstanding clinical performance. She studied and utilizes the following chiropractic techniques; Diversified, Logan basic, Thompson, SOT, and Cox flexion distraction. After graduation, Dr. Scott worked in a family practice in Evanston, IL, a northern suburb of Chicago, before moving back to southern Illinois to be closer to her family and join our team!

Dr. Scott has served patients of all ages ranging from newborns to 92 years of age. Dr. Scott is passionate about using the very best hands-on-techniques and state of the art physiotherapy procedures to aid in whole body health and healing of all of her patients including the pediatric population, pregnant women, and patients who suffer from chronic pain.
